WTTA, MyTV Tampa Bay is proud to broadcast two locally produced public affair programs. The shows rotate in our 10pm Sunday time slot.

Taking Sides™   is a half-hour public affairs program produced by Leffler Television, a division of The Leffler Agency and WTTA, MyTV Tampa Bay. The program airs every other Sunday night at 10:00 on MyTV Tampa Bay.

As a topic-driven program Taking Sides™   focuses on local issues that effect the Tampa Bay area. The show's format features an open discussion forum among regular panelists and occasional expert guests. The thirty minute show is moderated by host Rose Ferlita, best known as Hillsborough County Commissioner of District 1 in Tampa.

The regular panelists include four-time Tampa Mayor Dick Greco, Pat Frank, Clerk of the Circuit Court for Hillsborough County, Tampa Tribune Sports columnist Roy Cummings, Christa Watson, small business financing executive, international business attorney Fred McClure plus Ernest Hooper, columnist for the St. Petersburg Times and TBT.

Regulars also include: Ed Davis, former C.O.O. of the Chicago Options Exchange, Lou Plasencia, a prominent commercial real estate developer, Stephanie Agliano, head of public affairs for TECO, and Harry Seal, former interim Director of the Vermont Lottery.

From the serious to the humorous, Taking Sides™   is always lively in its discussions and every Taking Sides™   program ends with the patented "Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down" ranking where panelists are asked to take a decisive position on the weekly issue.
